How it all began

STREB was founded by Georg Streb in Neu-Isenburg, not far from Frankfurt/Main, in 1931 as a supplier of graphic arts products. Under the leadership of CEO and co-owner Wolfgang Heller, the family business specialized in impression cylinder coverings, with patented solutions for letterpress products, and on the sale of the first compressible offset printing blankets.

In 1968 the company relocated from Neu-Isenburg to Dreieich-Buchschlag, and in 1973 production capacities were expanded again. Between 2009 and 2011, the production buildings and machinery were modernized completely.

Today no family member is part of the executive board anymore. But the supervisory council is still in den hands of the family. The shares of STREB AG also continue to be owned exclusively by the family.
Today, STREB AG is one of the world's leading suppliers of offset printing blankets and related products.
